Gregory Brooks, a high school teacher, was arrested on two felony counts of illegal sexual contact by a person in authority.
“The accused did commit the offence of Improper Sexual Conduct by Person of Trust in the 2nd degree when the accused, as a person in a position of trust, engages in sexual contact, excluding sexually explicit conduct, with a minor for whom he or she has entered into an agreement entrusting him or her with the responsibility of education and supervision of such minor,” according to The Augusta Press.
On Thursday, charges were filed following a comprehensive investigation.
Two female pupils, ages 14 and 15, were among Brooks’ victims.
They said that the elderly teacher slapped them on the buttocks. According to the victims, the incident occurred between September 24 and October 26.
According to current reports, the bond is set at $10,200.
