A transgender person has raised awareness of the fact that everyone who gives birth is now a mother, and he wants medical professionals to remember this.
Bennett Kasper-Williams’ kid was born by caesarean in October 2020 to his husband Malik, who is based in Los Angeles.
Kasper-Williams claims he was routinely misgendered by hospital staff while waiting to give birth to Hudson, who referred to him as a mother.
Similarly, during Hudson’s delivery, Kasper-Williams was bothered by medical personnel’s constant misgendering of him, insisting on calling him a mother.

Bennett Kaspar Williams didn’t realise he was transgender until he was in his twenties, in 2011, about ten years ago. He began the transformation process three years later.
He recognised that if he learned to think of his body as a tool rather than a collection of gendered expectations, he could be the person he wanted to be and have a kid.
Kasper-Williams realised he was trans in 2011 and began transitioning in 2014, which included a $5,000 procedure on the upper half of his body but not the button half. The surgery was termed as ‘liberating’ by Bennett.

He met his future husband, Malik, in 2017, and they married in 2019. Bennett’s testosterone hormone treatment was discontinued after the couple examined their alternatives before deciding to start a family.
Bennett’s ovaries were able to function as a result, despite the fact that he had not had bottom surgery. He expressed his willingness to try to conceive and bear a child.
Bennett fell pregnant soon after, and he and Malik welcomed their son Hudson through Cesarean section in October 2020.
The process of attempting to conceive, being successful, and being pregnant, he stated, had no effect on his gender identity. The only thing that bothered me about it was how medical experts always assumed his gender.
He now relishes the notion that he is both a parent and the one who gave birth to his child.
